Hey there,
I’m Hari Sevugan -- Pete’s Deputy Campaign Manager for messaging and brand.
We launched our Marathon States Fund yesterday to help fund our campaign not just to the Iowa caucus but through the early states and until we secure the nomination.
Honestly, I think it’s a missed opportunity that we’re not calling this the “MAYOR-a-thon States Fund,” but I’m hoping you can chip in anyways to help make sure we’re in the strongest position possible.

They pulled me in to tell you about the second strategic imperative we’re focused on: spreading our message to as many people as possible. We need to make sure voters understand the new approach that Pete offers -- one that rallies Americans together behind bold solutions to actually get things done instead of pushing us even further apart as our urgent crises grow worse.
Look, people like Pete. And throughout this campaign, we’ve seen time and time again that when people hear directly from Pete about his vision for America, they’re motivated to not just support, but vote for Pete. It’s as simple as that. So we need to go one level deeper, and we do that through comprehensive outreach programs -- person-to-person, digitally, in the press, and on TV and radio.
Our ads have been extremely effective. You’ve probably seen some of them! We have a diverse media market strategy, with ads up on cable TV and digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Hulu.
We can secure the nomination, but we need to be able to continue our robust outreach and communication programs.
Can we count on you to chip in $3 to help make sure we can spread Pete’s message across the country?
Thanks for believing in Pete’s message and for being part of this community. Your support means a lot.
Hari
