I emailed you Sunday.
I emailed you Tuesday.
I have to email one last time today.
That is how pivotal this moment is. I need 1,200 supporters to sign on before midnight to get my campaign off the ground. If I can show I have a MASSIVE wave of support behind me, then I’ll be able to prove that I have what it takes to win this critical race for Democrats. But if I miss my goal, it’ll be that much harder to win this flip this seat blue. Which is why I’m asking if you could give me your personal endorsement? It would mean so much to me. >>
John, I was able to meet my first public fundraising deadline.
But now, I’m asking for just one more thing.
I need your personal endorsement.
If you already have my back, you can go ahead and sign your name here. If you’re not sure yet, let me explain and fight for your support. >>
John, I need you to understand my story:
I’m the proud son of union workers.
When my parents immigrated here, they had high hopes of creating a good life for us.
It was anything but easy – we lived paycheck to paycheck and faced housing instability.
But because my parents believed in the American Dream and never gave up, their hard work eventually paid off.
It is because of my upbringing that I believe all families deserve a fighting chance at the American Dream. But my Republican opponent, Congressman Don Bacon, doesn’t give working class families a chance. Instead, he votes to cut taxes for the wealthy while leaving working class folks to fend for themselves. Which is why I’m running for Congress – because hardworking folks deserve someone who will have their backs in Washington. But this is going to be one of the closest races anywhere in the country, so I need 1,200 endorsements before midnight to prove I have the support of voters. Please, will you add your name now? >>
John, I’ll be blunt: we must give everything we have in order to win this race.
That is why endorsements like yours will help me get a running start to lift my grassroots campaign off the ground.
Right now, I’m hoping you’ll have my back with your endorsement. I need 1,200 endorsements before midnight to prove I have the momentum to flip this seat blue for Democrats everywhere. So please, will you sign your name? >>
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Tony
P.S. I just filed the official paperwork for my candidacy! I’m proud to have reached this far in my campaign for Congress, but we still have a long way to go. If 1,200 people endorse me before midnight, it’ll be the largest wave of support my campaign has seen so far. John, I’d be honored to have your personal endorsement. >>
