[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont
Hello,
With the Senate failing to pass voting rights legislation and stand up for
our democracy last night, it’s clear there’s still a lot of work we have
to do. And while I’m frustrated with how this happened, I’m also ready to
roll up my sleeves and get it done.
That work starts with this team, which just got bigger with eight of my
House colleagues endorsing our campaign for Senate.
I’m honored to have the support of Representatives Adam Schiff, Jamie
Raskin, Karen Bass, Joaquin Castro, Terri Sewell, David Cicilline,
Madeleine Dean, and Stacey Plaskett. All of them have been on the front
lines of the fight for the future of American democracy. That’s why they
came together to endorse us — because they see our commitment to fighting
for voting rights and preserving our democracy. They realize the urgency
in this moment – and that working families need policies that will address
the multiple crises they are currently facing.
If we’re going to do the work to protect our democracy, we have to come
together to keep the Senate blue. I’m thankful to have these leaders on my
team — and now we need to keep up the momentum.

campaign to keep the Senate blue and help save democracy?

Across Vermont and the nation, people need results now. If I have the
honor of serving as Vermont’s next senator, I’ll be able to hit the ground
running and continue working with this group of colleagues to preserve our
democracy, lower the cost of prescription drugs, combat climate change,
expand child care, and more.
But it’s going to take all of us, working together, to get this done.

of democracy and keep Vermont blue.
Thanks,
Peter
