Can you believe it’s been one year since the historic day that President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were sworn in?

That was a great day for our democracy — we made history as the first Black, South Asian, and woman became Vice President. And we finally defeated Trump and his dangerous administration of hate, lies, and fear.

Since then, Biden and Harris have:

- Brought economic relief to millions of Americans in the American Rescue Plan
- Passed historic legislation to fund critical clean-energy projects in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Package
- Fought to make voting rights a priority
- Got vaccines in millions of arms

But our work is nowhere near finished. The GOP is determined to block every piece of climate legislation the Biden Administration proposed. In fact, Mitch McConnell himself said he was “one hundred percent” focused “on stopping” Biden’s administration.
