Urge the Senate to vote "yes" on WHPA and defend abortion access for all.
ACLU Supporter –
As we approach the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we're at a crisis point when it comes to abortion access in this country – but the Senate can do something about it right now and you can make sure they do:
Message your senator today and urge them to pass the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) immediately – a bill that will provide a nationwide safeguard against abortion bans and medically unnecessary restrictions.

ACLU Supporter, the House has already passed WHPA and the Senate is expected to vote on it soon. If it passes, it will help protect people's right to abortion, no matter where you live or who you are.
After shamefully allowing Texas' extreme abortion ban to remain in effect last month, the Supreme Court could soon decide to overturn Roe v. Wade altogether. If it does, we expect about half the states to ban abortion, and politicians will push to ban abortion nationwide if they get the chance.
This assault on abortion will impact all of us, but because of the systemic inequities in this country, it will disproportionately harm people of color and people with low incomes the most.
Before a SCOTUS decision, ACLU Supporter, we can speak up to ensure WHPA succeeds – and it's more urgent than ever to get the Senate to act. So please, send your message now and defend abortion access for all.
