Hello,
We have some incredibly exciting news: This morning, we launched our first broadcast TV ad against Mitch McConnell, and we are back up on the air in Kentucky!
Mitch McConnell has said for years that he’s fighting against the alleged “War on Coal,” but through some investigative research, we uncovered that he’s actually been personally profiting off foreign coal while Kentucky coal miners suffer:

Mitch McConnell thought it was funny to sell “Cocaine Mitch” t-shirts on his official campaign website after cocaine was found in Colombia on a ship owned by his wife’s family. He was even autographing them.
But through some investigative research, we discovered that in addition to those 40 kilos of cocaine, 58,000 tons of Colombian coal were on that ship, too. And Mitch and his wife’s family have made millions of dollars shipping foreign coal to and from Colombia, Australia, India, China, and other countries.
We don’t have to tell you that in a state like Kentucky, where coal miners and former coal miners have been suffering for decades, the fact that Mitch has made millions by helping other countries produce coal and undercut Kentucky coal is not going to go over well…
Mitch McConnell doesn’t care about Kentucky coal miners. After Mitch cut miners’ health care to give a tax cut to coal companies, McConnell even refused to meet with black lung victims who sat on a 10 hour bus ride to come plead with him for their lives.
The coal regions of Kentucky know that it’s time for change – they were a HUGE part of Democrats’ victory on Tuesday night when they helped Andy Beshear defeat Republican incumbent Matt Bevin in the governor’s race. And now, we’re going to help them defeat Mitch McConnell next!
After you watch our new TV ad (it’s only 30 seconds!), please consider chipping in whatever you can afford to help us keep it on the air. We need to raise another $100,000 before Monday to keep it running through next week, and we’re counting on grassroots donors like you to give now or we will have to take it down:
With the help of everyday people like you, we are building a grassroots movement that is going to take on the most powerful man in Washington – and win!
Together we can restore sanity back to the Senate. Thank you for being a part of this from the start.
