I’ve called Ohio’s 4th district my home for most of my life. I care deeply about creating progress here and know what it takes for families like mine to thrive. So, here's why I'm running for Congress.

For too long, working people have been cheated out of what they deserve. Millionaires and billionaires refuse to pay their fair share while working families struggle to pay for increasingly expensive groceries, healthcare, and education. Every child deserves opportunity, and that starts with education. Every family has a right to healthcare, and that's why we need to pass single-payer healthcare.

This is personal. I was laid off during the Great Recession and struggled to make ends meet. It took me 22 months to find a job, and I had to start from the bottom at a factory. It's heartbreaking to see this continue to happen to folks in my community, especially as the pandemic rages on. I won’t stand for it.
