FARGO, N.D. – Michael Howe, a farmer and state representative from Casselton running for Secretary of State, issued the following statement after Democrats’ partisan election takeover bill failed to advance ([link removed]) in the US Senate.
“Last night the US Senate narrowly voted down President Biden’s partisan plan to ban voter ID laws and hand control of our elections over to distant bureaucrats in D.C.,” said Howe. “I’m grateful to Senators Cramer and Hoeven for helping to block this federal takeover of our elections. As Secretary of State, I’ll fight every day to protect the security of our elections from outsiders in Washington.”
