Serving More Hoosiers

Campaigns are all about winning the opportunity to serve Hoosiers. And on Tuesday, voters went to the polls and chose Republicans mayors to serve in their largest numbers EVER. By any measure, Election Day 2019 was an overwhelming success for Indiana Republicans.

In January, we’ll have 70 Republican mayors throughout the entire state. Republican will now lead 23 more mayor’s offices than Democrats – including 19 offices that this year are switching from Democrat to Republican control.

Those flips really are all across our state – Bedford, Southport, Alexandria, Bluffton, Connersville, Greensburg, Hartford City, Jasonville, Kokomo, Logansport, Michigan City, Muncie, Oakland City, Peru, Portland, Rising Sun, Rockport, Salem and Winchester.

We won in former Democrat strongholds like Muncie, Logansport, Michigan City and Kokomo (clean sweep of every race in Kokomo). We’re competitive across the board, and under Governor Holcomb’s leadership, our trajectory continues to look up in 2020 and beyond.
