Tonight, 60 years later, the Jim Crow filibuster was used once again to block the Freedom to Vote: John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
Every single Republican joined centrist Democrats Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin, voting to preserve the filibuster as democracy hangs in the balance.
