what we’ve been up to in and around Nevada’s Third Congressional District.
 
🌈 Being Proud of Who We Are 🌈

Last month, Susie had so much fun marching in the Las Vegas Pride Parade.
Pride events like this one are such an incredible way to remind everyone that
we should be proud of who we are --no matter who we love. We hope everyone had
an amazing time!

✏️ Susie Introduces an Important Bill in Congress ✏️

* Susie introduced a bill to protect and increase the value of Pell Grants.
* Thousands of people have relied on Pell Grants to support them through
college without having to take on insurmountable debt.
* Having used Pell Grants to attend college herself, Susie knows they are
essential to giving every student a fair shot and helping make college more
affordable.
* Susie introduced this bill to ensure the value of Pell Grants keeps up with
inflation and rising college costs, so more kids can afford to go to college.

Susie was recently endorsed by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund!

In their announcement, they said districts like Susie’s are “crucial to
protecting our sexual and reproductive health and rights.”

This progressive group is doing important work and recognizes Susie as a
champion of protecting and expanding Americans’ reproductive healthcare.
