Harriet Hageman statement on Joe Biden's press conference

Wyoming Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, Harriet Hageman, today issued the following statement regarding President Joe Biden’s press conference:

“I had to laugh out loud when Joe Biden said he has ‘overperformed’ as president. It’s not possible for anyone to look at the smoldering wreckage of this administration and conclude that it has been anything but a catastrophe.

“Wyomingites are getting crushed by inflation, our energy independence is gone, the Supreme Court had to stop an unconstitutional vaccine mandate, our southern border may as well not exist any longer, the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a deadly disaster, and the president continues to divide Americans along racial lines. Not a person in Wyoming could look at this president and think he’s anything but incapable of doing his job.

“On top of it all, Biden called into question the legitimacy of the 2022 elections if Congress doesn’t pass his federal takeover of state elections, and also seemed to give Russia permission to invade Ukraine in a ‘minor incursion.’

“While Liz Cheney is serving as Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked vice chair of the January 6th Committee, this is the atrocious record she’s helping Democrats distract attention from.

“Liz Cheney has chosen sides, and it’s not ours. Wyoming deserves a Representative who looks out for Wyoming.”
