Team,
Ever since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and former President Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election results and spread his "Big Lie," voting rights have been under attack.
Last year was one of the most devastating years for voting rights in recent history as Republican-controlled state legislatures across the country passed record numbers of voting restrictions.
Voter suppression is a threat to our democracy, and safeguarding our democracy means defending voting rights. That’s why Chris voted last week to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act to restore the protections of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and ensure our elections are free and fair. Now we need the Senate to act.
There is nothing more important than defending our democracy and ensuring our government works for the people. Will you add your name to call on the Senate to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act?

The right to vote is fundamental, and the recent rollbacks to voting rights threaten our democracy. Chris won't stop fighting in Congress to ensure that all Americans can cast their ballots freely without unnecessary barriers.
The only way to guarantee voting rights for all is to pass federal legislation that will restore the protections of the Voting Rights Act. The Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act is the legislation our generation needs to pass to do our part to preserve voting rights for the future.
Add your name to tell the Senate it's time to act on safeguarding our voting rights.
