Last month, I was excited to announce that I’m seeking re-election to serve as the Congresswoman for California’s newly drawn 51st Congressional District. I knew Republicans wouldn’t be happy about that, but I didn’t know how fast they would work — in fact, I already have two Republican opponents.

I know why Republicans are so eager to get me out of Congress. After all, I reliably support legislation that will help struggling families and workers, like the Build Back Better Act, the expanded and improved Child Tax Credit, and the federal eviction moratorium. They know that with another term in Congress, I’ll continue to advocate for bills that prioritize real people over private profit.

Today, I’m asking you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can spare to my campaign to ensure that we have the resources to take on whatever Republican attacks come our way.
