Hi John,

Tomorrow marks one year since the inauguration of President Biden and Vice President Harris. I know I speak for countless Delaware Democrats when I talk about how proud I am of our former Senator. 

Over the last year, over 200 million Americans have been vaccinated — and tens of millions of more boosted against COVID-19, the economy added 6.4 million jobs and is booming in ways we haven't seen in two decades, and American families received help to get back on their feet. Even with the GOP’s constant roadblocks in our path towards progress, President Biden and Congressional Democrats have accomplished a tremendous amount in just one year. And for that, we should celebrate.

Going into the midterm elections, President Biden and the Democrats need to focus everything on protecting our slim majorities in the US House and Senate. President Biden is counting on us to re-elect Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester to support the Democrats' agenda in the House. That’s why I hope you will pitch in to the DDP, so we can strengthen our organizing efforts and continue to be a state President Biden can lean on.

In 2020, Americans stood together for the promise of a better tomorrow: an America that celebrates diversity, lifts the vulnerable, and where democracy is strong. That is the America that Joe Biden and the Democrats fight for every day, and our team is so much stronger with Democrats like you on it.
