Every Day is Veterans Day for Many Americans

As we go into the Veterans Day Weekend, we are reminded of the appreciation we have for the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices made by members of military and their families. For these members of the military and their families, every day is a day of service to our nation. We appreciate and honor their outstanding service to our nation and for our safety and security around the world.

Being born in Fort Bragg, raised as the daughter of an Air Force officer, and as an employee at Boeing who helped design and develop some of the most advanced military weapons of war, I have the utmost respect for these courageous military men and women who serve our nation so well.

Veterans Day is more than just one day a year. It is every day in the hearts of many Americans.
