One of Andy Ngo’s violent attackers is walking away from assaulting a federal
office with no prison time.

You read that right.

Yet somehow, this Antifa thug is being effectively released with a minor slap
on the wrist.

You may already be familiar with this case, but if not, let me catch you up.

Andy Ngo is one of the bravest investigative journalists in the world, and he
is responsible for unmasking Antifa as the violent, radical, left-wing
terrorist group that it is.

After members of the Portland Antifa Cell (Rose City Antifa) learned about his
work, they began to target him with the intent to silence him, or worse...KILL
him.

They tried and failed to stop Andy numerous times, leaving him beaten and
bloodied.

Yet, to date, every one of Andy’s assailants is walking free because Portland
authorities refuse to hold Antifa members responsible for their lawless actions.

Now... That’s the bad news.

The good news is that we won a significant victory in court in our fight for
justice against these radical thugs.

Antifa members did everything in their power to make us go away, sit down, and
shut up.

And when Andy tried to amend his lawsuit to include claims arising from a
second vicious attack on him, Antifa members went to the court to block Andy
from amending his complaint.

But their attempts to evade accountability for the second attack was DENIED by
the judge.

That means, despite the Portland government’s refusal to enforce their laws
against Antifa, we’re still able to ensure that these terrorist thugs are held
accountable.

John, our lawsuit is the best and only hope to make sure that justice is
served to these thugs. That’s why we need your help TODAY.

If we run short on funds to pay for this lawsuit, we’re allowing an incredibly
dangerous precedent to be set.

The precedent that assault is permissible - just as long as it comes from
violent leftist groups like Antifa…

How will any journalist feel safe when reporting the truth if they know that
anyone who would do them harm will go unpunished, just as they have so far
after attacking Andy?

Why should anyone who opposes Antifa’s radical anti-American beliefs feel safe
expressing their beliefs publicly if Antifa is allowed to intimidate, assault,
and attack anyone they want to without consequence?

You see John, this case isn’t just about slapping a few petty criminals on the
wrist…

This is about ensuring that political violence against honest members of the
press doesn’t become effectively legalized by inaction from the justice system.

Would you consider giving a generous gift of $35 or more today to ensure that
we have all the resources we need to win this fight?

There is no way that we could have come this far without you, and I am more
than grateful for your support for the Center for American Liberty.

Sincerely,
