And we’re excited to welcome an exciting list of speakers, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty, and our partners from the Texas Equal Access Fund and the Cherry Hill Women’s Center in New Jersey. Together we’ll discuss how we’re looking beyond the Supreme Court by fighting in cities and states across the country to expand abortion access everywhere we can, in every way we can.

January 22 marks the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade — and the Supreme Court is on track to ensure Roe won’t live to see a 50th year. Anti-abortion crusaders are on the cusp of achieving their decades-long goal to eliminate federal protections for abortion rights.

 

But now is not the time to give up. Rather, for the millions of us who want to see abortion protected, this is a call to action.

 

Join our digital event, the State of the Reproductive Union: Looking Beyond Roe on January 25 at 6pm ET. We’ll be joined by legislators and activists to discuss how NIRH and our allies are looking beyond the Supreme Court by fighting in cities and states across the country to expand abortion access everywhere we can, in every way we can.
