Our right to vote is under attack. In 2021, more than 400 bills restricting voting rights were introduced in 49 states — and several of those anti-democratic bills were signed into law.

Today, the Senate is debating legislation to combat this assault on our democracy by protecting and expanding the right to vote. But since I took office in January of 2021, the filibuster has been used to kill three separate bills that protect the right to vote.

Enough is enough. That’s why I’m calling on the Senate to change the filibuster and pass legislation protecting our right to vote immediately.
