To help ensure Americans have equitable access to COVID-19 testing, the Biden Administration is purchasing one billion at-home, rapid COVID-19 tests to deliver to your doorstep for FREE.
Starting today, January 19th, every household in the U.S. will be able to order 4 free, at-home COVID tests online at COVIDTests.gov. The tests will usually ship in 7 - 12 days so order your tests now so you have them when you need them.
The process is quick and easy—just enter your name, email address, and shipping address to receive a testing kit. If you live in a multi-unit building and are unable to process your order due to the four-per-household cap, you can file a request for assistance at emailus.usps.com/s/the-postal-store-inquiry or contact the help desk at 1-800-ASK-USPS.
If you need a COVID-19 test now, please visit covid19.lacounty.gov/testing/ to find a testing location near you. If you need more tests, you can purchase them and get reimbursed by your private insurance carrier for up to eight tests per month.
And as a reminder: Testing is only one step you can take to protect yourself, friends, family, and others. Lower your risk of serious illness by getting vaccinated, boosted, and upgrading your mask to an N95/KN95.
