Hey y'all! Here's what's going on with the Chapter this week:

Our first Monthly General Meeting of 2022 will be this Saturday at noon! The General Meeting is the highest decision-making body in the chapter, where members hear updates on our various projects, debate new campaigns and strategy, and vote on proposals and resolutions. This month we’ll start with some social time to meet and hear from each other in smaller groups, as well as hear a presentation on Entergy’s woeful history as power supplier to the metro area and how you can get involved in fighting back against them, and a bunch more. Our Chapter's Municipal Action Committee's (MAC) work focuses on issues related to local politics, government and elections, including our beloved Voter Guides. Join the MAC next week for our first meeting of the year! This meeting will include a rundown on the new City Council, and updates on the potential upcoming Entergy campaign.
