I recently came across this tweet from Senator Warren regarding the filibuster. Check it out below:

I agree with Senator Warren.

There have been more than 161 changes made to the filibuster in the last five decades, with the filibuster altered to pass trade deals, tax cuts, and Supreme Court justices.

The ability to freely participate in our elections is just as important to the well-being of our democracy as is ensuring a functioning Supreme Court, and as a country, we need to come together and do what is right for American democracy.

As I continue to use my voice to defend our constitutional right to vote, I intend to use it to call upon my Republican colleagues to stand on the right side of history. I hope you will consider contributing to my campaign and support my efforts in protecting the ballot box.
