In her tenure, she has led a team of dedicated professionals toward the expansion of services and  breaking ground on nationally-recognized programs in the quest to end the experience of youth homelessness in Alaska.

Case Conferencing and Coordinated Entry (CE) Training

Point-in-Time (PIT) Count

The 2022 PIT Count will happen next week on the 25th-28th of January. Because of COVID-19, volunteers will not be assisting in this year's count.

"I'm currently starting my first grant. It is through Out North, a theater production.
It will be in First Two Weekends of April.

I'm looking for folks who want to be actors, and develop a skit.
I’m starting with folks with lived experience who want to develop a play and play in it
Or be involved with stage art, or what not.

I'm holding my first workshop online today, Jan 18th, on Zoom from 3-4:30.

US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

2022 CARES Act Virtual Conference  
Register for the 2022 CARES Act Virtual Conference taking place January 24–28, 2022. This conference is intended for all grantees that have applied for and received their allocation of HUD CARES Act funding in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The first two days of the conference include sessions for Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV), Emergency Solutions Grants Coronavirus (ESG-CV), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With HIV/AIDS Coronavirus (HOPWA-CV) programs and the last three days feature two concurrent Basically CDBG courses.

2022 National Conference on Ending Unsheltered Homelessness: Strategies and Policies That Work
The 2022 National Conference on Ending Unsheltered Homelessness: Strategies and Policies That Work is now a virtual conference. The conference will take place February 16—18 from 12:00—5:00 pm ET.
Registration is now open, and will close on February 7, 2022 at 3:00 pm ET.

Congressional Appropriators Announce Progress Toward FY22 Spending Deal – Take Action to Advance the HoUSed Campaign’s Affordable Housing Agenda
Congressional appropriators in the House and Senate announced progress towards reaching a deal on a federal spending package for fiscal year (FY) 2022. The announcement came after a January 13 meeting between Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Ranking Member Richard Shelby (R-AL) and House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) and Ranking Member Kay Granger (R-TX).
