We’re reaching out because today is Mikie’s birthday and as one of her strongest supporters, we’re hoping you’ll sign Mikie’s birthday card. (It’s a big milestone -- Mikie’s turning 50!) [[link removed]]
We’re so proud of Mikie.
Mikie is one of three kids and ever since she was young, she’s had an incredible sense of drive and determination to get things done.
Inspired by her grandfather who was a B-24 pilot during WWII, Mikie knew in the fifth grade that she wanted to join the Navy.
And that’s exactly what Mikie did. She entered the Naval Academy at 18 years old and served as a helicopter pilot for nearly 10 years.

​ Mikie’s a Navy veteran, a former federal prosecutor, and most important, she’s the mom of four of our amazing grandchildren.And in 2018, Mikie became the first Democrat to represent New Jersey’s 11th District in over 30 years. And she’s one of only a handful of women veterans in the House.
Mikie works so hard for New Jersey in Congress, and for her birthday, we want her to know how much we all appreciate her drive, determination, and hard work. We know she’d love to hear from you on the big day -- will you sign Mikie’s birthday card today? [[link removed]]
