Yesterday, the Senate began debating the Freedom To Vote: John R. Lewis Act. The Freedom to Vote Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act are the urgent measures we need to restore the protections of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and ensure our elections are free and fair.
