Team Sierra is a community determined to create a healthy world for all. Together, we're raising funds to support the Sierra Club's work for our climate and communities, wildlife and wild places. We've already raised over $2 million in 5 short years. You can help us go even further.

Every dollar you raise will fund vital initiatives like retiring coal plants, moving away from fossil fuels, and transitioning to clean energy, like solar and wind, in an equitable and just way.

1.5 Degree Challenge – Now-February 18: The 1.5 Degree Challenge is a 5-week climate action fundraising challenge to complete a 15 minute activity every day. This is a fun, low-stress way to improve the planet’s health, as well as your own! Hundreds of people have already committed across the nation to move their bodies (sun salutations, jumping jacks, leapfrog!).
Earth Month – April 1-30:Earth Day is a global day dedicated to celebrating and investing in our Earth and future. We love it so much that we’ve dedicated the entire month of April to celebrate our planet. You can join our virtual community by joining a virtual class (drawing, yoga, cooking!), or getting outside on Earth Day (hiking, picking up trash, planting trees!). Plus, we have big plans for a sustainable 2022 Earth Day T-shirt!
City Hike – September 8-October 13: Our Hike-A-Thon is a nationally powered and locally experienced virtual event. You can hike where you are, or join a flagship event in LA or Boston. Grab your shoes, backpack, and route map, and you’ll experience nearby nature while learning about local issues.
Berlin Marathon – September 25:One of the World Marathon Majors, the race is known for its flat and fast course and exciting route along some of the most storied sights of Berlin, including the Reichstag, Berliner Dom, Siegessäule, and a start and finish through the Brandenburg Gate. We have extremely-limited charity bibs to guarantee your entry!
Create Your Own Adventure – Anytime, Anywhere!: People have come up with fun and creative ways to raise money for the Sierra Club. Some run races, some hike, some perform concerts, and some ask for donations on their birthday instead of gifts. What will you do?
At the Sierra Club, we work to explore, enjoy, and protect our planet. When you’re a part of Team Sierra, we explore together, enjoy together, and protect together – and together, we are powerful.
