Sorry to be so blunt, but our first fundraising deadline of the new year is coming up quickly and we still need 519 more donations to close the gap and start this year on the strongest note possible.

We know we say this often, but hitting this month’s goal is so important. Here’s why:

If we don’t hit our goals, it’ll look like there isn’t enthusiasm for re-electing Hakeem or House Democrats. If that happens, Republicans will take notice and we could end up with a House run by Matt Gaetz or Marjorie Taylor Greene in 2022.

So if we plan to keep control of the House and Senate after 2022, then we need to hit our goals now and along the way so we have the resources to put up a fight. Which is why we have to ask:
