As you know, we at Issue One are deeply concerned about the state of our democracy, the fraud narrative that is undermining faith in our elections, and what this dangerous trend will mean in 2022 and beyond.
That’s why we are so eager to share with you the work of fellow journalists Mark Bowden and Matthew Teague , who have written one of the most significant works of investigative journalism on the 2020 election – THE STEAL: The Attempt to Overturn the 2020 Election and the People Who Stopped It.
In this book, Bowden and Teague offer a week-by-week, state-by-state account of the effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election. In the sixty-four days between November 3 and January 6, President Donald Trump and his allies fought to reverse the outcome of the vote.
On Thursday, February 3, I am sitting down with Mark and Matt to discuss their investigative background, why they chose to examine the 2020 election, and how we all can serve as patriotic heroes to protect the 2022 elections and beyond.
