We still have a lot of work to do.

Dick Durbin

Hi John,

Senator Durbin said I could reach out to you today. In a minute, I’ll explain why, but if you’d like to skip right to the point:

Will you split a contribution of any amount between my re-election campaign and Senator Dick Durbin’s to defend our Senate majority?

When I was recovering at Walter Reed over 16 years ago after being wounded in Iraq, Senator Durbin invited me to be his guest to the State of the Union – and he gave me his phone number, telling me to call with any issues I or my fellow Wounded Warriors were facing. And boy, did I hold him to it!

Finally, after enough phone calls, Senator Durbin encouraged me to consider running for office myself, so that I could better advocate for Veterans and families like mine.

Since my election to the U.S. Senate, it's been an honor to work alongside Senator Durbin to help improve the lives of Illinoisans.

In the last few months alone, we’ve secured crucial investments that are already helping us clean up our drinking water, repair our crumbling roads and bridges, expand statewide access to high-speed internet, create good-paying local jobs and much, much more for working families in Illinois. But we still have a lot of work to do. I’m up for re-election this year and need your support.

Please split a contribution of any amount you can between my re-election campaign and Senator Dick Durbin’s right now to help us keep up our work for working families.

Thank you,

Tammy Duckworth
