A NOTE FOR THE NEW YEAR
Dear John,
On behalf of everyone at NCOA, I hope the new year has treated you with health and happiness.
As we work together to build a just and caring society where every single person can age with dignity, purpose, and security, I invite you to reflect on how you can begin the year with a little peace of mind.
How Aging Well Can Fit Into Your Resolutions
Lots of people are setting resolutions for the year ahead. If you're wondering what you might change or try to age well, I have some easy ways you can get going through 2022 and beyond:
- Reflect on something you’ve been grateful for since your last birthday: As our Aging Mastery Program® is fond of noting, taking some time to appreciate something positive in your life has mental and physical health benefits!
- Commit to a simple habit—and lean on us for help: Whether your focus is an organized household budget, or just staying hydrated, our site will help you pick a target and reach it.
- Create a free estate plan ([link removed]) to secure your future and take care of all that you love.

About that last point...
No matter how old you are or what you own, creating an estate plan is an act of responsibility that takes care of all of the important people (and pets!) in your life. Through FreeWill, our trusted partner linked above, you can make your will in just 20 minutes, along with other estate planning documents.
It's NCOA's mission to ensure everyone has access to the tools they need to age well. This is one of them, and it gives you and everyone you love a sense of security.
No matter what resolutions you make, I hope you make the most out of 2022!
All my best,
Ramsey Alwin,
President and CEO
