As you may have seen, I tested positive for a breakthrough case of Covid-19 over the weekend. I am recovering at home and will continue to isolate in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Although I am experiencing symptoms, I know they are far milder than they would be had I not gotten vaccinated, and I’m grateful for the protection it offers me. If you are not yet fully vaccinated (including a booster shot 6+ months after your second dose), I encourage you to do so as soon as you can. You can schedule your appointment here.

If you have been exposed or if you are experiencing symptoms, please get tested and quarantine. You can schedule your test in New York City here, and you can sign up to receive four free, at-home Covid-19 tests here.

Additionally, please continue to distance wherever you can and wear your mask when you are in close proximity to others. (The CDC now recommends wearing a medical-grade or KN95/N95 mask if possible.)
