A Note from Team Training
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” —Eleanor Roosevelt
With all that’s happening in the world, it’s easy to lose sight of our “why” - that thing that drives us to do what we do, that dream that empowers us through the grunt work it takes to get to where we want to be.
One good thing about the start of a new year is that it tends to cause self reflection. Many people take stock of their lives, where they are and where they want to be and make resolutions. Did you do that? I did. Whatever you call it, making resolutions or creating a vision board or taking time for self-reflection - it’s all about reconnecting with your “why.”
Once you’ve done that, you have to take action to make it all real.
As a Democrat, it's critical that we elect more people-powered leaders to protect our democracy so together we can fight for a better, fairer, and brighter future for every person. To ensure that we reach these goals, we must raise money, talk to voters, and make sure we’re creating an inclusive culture for all Californians.
Our Trailraiser Tuesdays will help raise much needed funds while our Organizing Bootcamp will ensure we’re coordinating better at the local to federal level and our Black History Month event will provide inspiration and a call to action for us to work harder to earn the vote of a key part of our party.
Join us.
