Your Prayers and Action Are LIFE-Changing

Dear John,

As thousands come to Washington, D.C. this week to march for life, there has never been a greater opportunity for pro-life Americans to make a difference for the unborn.

Our team at Family Research Council has witnessed numerous legal battles play out at the U.S. Supreme Court over the years. Most of those cases have danced "around the edges" of sanctity of life and abortion issues, addressing matters such as free speech or clinic regulations.

Yet the State of Mississippi enacted a pro-life law that directly challenges Roe v. Wade, the opinion which invented a "constitutional" right to abortion. And if the Supreme Court upholds this state law (in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization court case), it could mean the demise of that infamous decision.

The highest court in our land is expected to decide the Dobbs case this summer. As we know from prior cases, anything could happen before then. While it is rare, justices have flipped their position even on cases of immense importance only weeks before an announced opinion.

As this new year begins, I hope and trust you will commit to pray for our leaders -- particularly those making life-or-death decisions on the Supreme Court.

It's absolutely crucial to be in prayer, and for churches to be engaged on behalf of these vulnerable lives. FRC's advocacy is also reaching far beyond the faithful.

FRC is providing timely and in-depth information to conservative lawmakers fighting the good fight in state houses across America.

To advance our mission, can you stand with FRC in prayer and financial support?

FRC's influence with state legislators this past year has been unprecedented. During the week of the Dobbs case hearing in early December, FRC leaders and experts hosted more than 120 state legislators from 39 states at our largest-ever summit designed to advance pro-life protections in the states.

Such mobilization is essential right now. In the event Mississippi's pro-life law is upheld, it likely means states will have greater flexibility to set policies to protect pre-born lives.

Our experts are equipping frontline conservative legislators with scientific facts regarding life in the womb -- along with moral and ethical reasoning that can inform every policy battle.

In recent months, our team launched an interactive tracking website titled "America's Direct Deposit to Planned Parenthood," revealing the outrageous amount of U.S. taxpayer dollars the abortion industry giant receives every year. You can see it at frc.org/track.

From our detailed policy research to our "friend of the court briefs" -- including one we filed in support of Mississippi in the Dobbs case -- these resources are informing policymakers at all levels.

Elected officials regularly cite FRC research as they promote policies like the Hyde Amendment (to stop your taxpayer dollars from funding abortions) and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (to provide medical care to newborn babies who survive an abortion attempt).

Your partnership with FRC is shaping the debate over LIFE! As we resource the movement pushing back against the culture of death, will you support us with your best gift?
