One of the best parts of my job is watching our Collegiate Network student journalists get the recognition they deserve.

That’s why I’m excited to watch Audrey Unverferth, a student at the University of Chicago and the Editor of the Chicago Thinker, on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News at tonight at 8 p.m. EST!

Audrey and Tucker will be discussing a recent editorial from the Chicago Thinker arguing that the COVID-19 booster mandate issued by the University of Chicago administration is invasive and excessive.

These daring student journalists have done a superb job of describing the insidious nature of the policy:

“This booster mandate is demonstrably unsafe, ineffective, unnecessary, inconsistent, and unethical. We’ve struggled beneath UChicago’s draconian COVID decrees for years, but the university’s booster mandate reaches a new height of absurdity...UChicago claims to rely upon ‘expert’ opinion in structuring its COVID regime. Yet, even advisory committees at the FDA and CDC initially declined to recommend the COVID booster for those under the age of 65....We’ve become lab rats in a perpetual war against a glorified flu—and there’s no end in sight. UChicago continues to defy scientific and moral standards, dehumanizing us in the process. Clearly, this is not about saving lives. It’s about control. We will not be controlled.”
