Hi there,

I wanted to give you an update about the Build Back Better Act. The Senate still hasn’t passed it, but our fight for this overwhelmingly popular federal action to combat climate change is far from over.

President Biden and leaders in Congress have heard the calls from millions of Americans and have made clear that failure is NOT an option, and that we cannot wait any longer for real climate action, good-paying green jobs, and environmental justice.

There are a few hurdles standing in the way of the final passage of this historic legislation, but with the support of President Biden we are hopeful that we will get the bill over the finish line!

To keep building support for the Build Back Better Act, the White House is planning a week of action starting Monday, January 24. We want you to get involved by sharing your answers to the following questions, which are a critical component of our campaign strategy:
• What has the climate crisis looked like in your neighborhood?
• What member of your family could benefit from a good, green job?
• Why do YOU personally care about environmental justice?

Your voice has made a huge impact thus far, and we are calling on you once again to get the attention of your Senators to tell them exactly why we need bold action on climate change. We want you to write a Letter to the Editor urging your representatives to pass the Build Back Better Act!
