I'm not a politician, John.

But it doesn't take being an elected official to know that our Central Valley community is hurting. It's a HUGE slap in the face that all Kevin McCarthy cares about is becoming Speaker of the House, and he’s willing to sacrifice anything at the altar of his own ambition.

I've worked for over two decades serving students and their parents in our community. I could care less about a Speaker's gavel.

This campaign is about engaging our community around the real issues that matter -- health care access, education, raising our wages, strengthening our agricultural economy, and fixing our immigration system.

Beating a guy like Kevin McCarthy means talking to everyone, which means no community will be written off because they are "too Republican" or vote too infrequently.

John, NOTHING would ruin McCarthy's plan to become Speaker better than crushing him at the ballot box in his own backyard. We can do this, but it’s going to take a lot of grassroots support.
