Democracy is on the line and we’re closer than ever to abolishing the filibuster.
Last week, President Biden voiced his strong support for filibuster reform in order to pass critical voting rights legislation.

Ro and our campaign stand with Joe Biden because we believe every American has the fundamental right to cast their vote, free from barriers or intimidation — and the filibuster is standing in the way of that. In 2021, we saw a coordinated effort by conservative state legislatures to restrict voting rights across the country, disproportionately impacting working Americans, people of color, and people with disabilities. We must abolish the filibuster so we can pass the Freedom to Vote Act.
The bottom line is this: The filibuster is an antiquated tradition that does not belong in a modern democracy.
