Hey John,
Steve Bannon isn't the first far-right extremist to get on a soapbox, but he is one of the few with an actual plan.
Here's why it matters: Thousands of insurrectionists, QAnon believers, anti-vaxxers, and anti-science diehards are answering his calls. They're signing up to run for election administrators across the country, often small and hyper-local races. If they win, they have the power to protect our elections or to steal an election for Trump.
This is how we stop them: We need to recruit, train, and elect diverse young progressives. We can be hopeful the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act gets passed, but
we can make an impact without waiting for the Senate.
John, play a part in defending our democracy from Steve Bannon's brigade of violent insurrectionists, QAnon believers, and white supremacists. Tag 2 diverse young progressive friends in the tweet below, and ask them to run for these offices in their area. We'll help them win!
Bannon's insurrectionist listeners, Flynn's QAnon Redditors, and all the local chapters of Proud Boys are activating their networks. Now we activate ours because
#DemocracyCantWait.
We could be asking you to donate today, but what we REALLY need are candidates in the pipeline: so share like Ezra!
That's why we tweet.
In the past five years, we've elected hundreds of diverse young progressives. We can win, but we need more people who care about running.
We need diverse young progressives to step up. We need you and two of your friends to Run for Something. So tag them on Twitter or Instagram, ask them to step up, and when they decide to run, we'll win together.
