Register today for this January 20th event when Health Affairs Senior Editor Laura Tollen hosts a panel of experts discussing why they believe there is a need for regulation of at least some health care prices – and how to do it. Robert Berenson, Institute Fellow at the Urban Institute, and Robert Murray, President of Global Health Payment, LLC, and past executive director of the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission,will discuss their Health Affairs paper, “How Price Regulation Is Needed To Advance Market Competition.”
Additional perspectives will be shared by Michael E. Chernew, the Leonard D. Schaeffer Professor of Health Care Policy, Department of Health Care Policy, Harvard Medical School. Audience members will have an opportunity to share thoughts and questions for the panelists.
