The current state of childhood poverty in the United States is abhorrent and shameful.
I refuse to continue the repugnant cycle of negligence toward poor children.

Donald Trump has used his time in office to give massive tax breaks to the ultra wealthy, while selling out the next generation.
If you elect me, I will make America’s kids a priority.
But I won’t stop there, team.
We’re going to raise the minimum wage to $15, provide free universal preschool, expand support for child nutrition programs such as WIC and food stamps, and fully fund housing vouchers for those who qualify in order to reduce homelessness.
Finally, I will pass the American Family Act, which will provide a Child Tax Credit of up to $300 per month per child to help working families afford to raise their kids and cut child poverty by nearly 40% immediately and end it in a generation.
