Team,

Today we honor the life of Dr. Martin King Jr. by recommitting to the fight for justice. Dr. King spent his life fighting for racial, social, and economic justice. He showed us that when we work together, we have the power to change the world.

We've made important progress in the past decades, but we can't forget the work we have ahead of us. We can't turn a blind eye to Republican state legislatures across the country passing record levels of voting rights restrictions that disproportionately impact Black Americans. And we can't ignore the systemic racism that continues to plague every facet of our society.

Dr. King said, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." The struggle for justice, equality, and peace is ongoing, but together we can get closer to living up to our ideals every day. We must keep building a more just country, from guaranteeing voting rights to fighting for justice for all.
