OAC WELCOMES LIZ PAUL AND ROBYN PASHBY, PHD, TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The OAC is honored to welcome two new members to our National Board of Directors. Liz Paul and Robyn Pashby, PhD, bring their personal experience and dedication to improving the lives of people living with obesity and join the Board in directing the OAC and its activities, setting long-term goals for the association and ensuring that all programs and initiatives are in the interest of individuals with obesity. OAC Member Karen Two Shoes

OAC Member Karen Two Shoes advocates for the health of Native America as part of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Recognizing the impact that culture and environment can have on obesity, and while navigating her own struggles with diabetes, Karen made a career in dietetics to bring empathetic health education back to her tribe. "I call upon all of the healthcare community to embrace the meaning of these words: empathy, understanding, diversity and inclusivity," says Karen.
