Friend,

As we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. we must remember that progress is something we have to fight for. If we are to attain a future of equity and prosperity for ALL our brothers and sisters we must choose action over complacency.

Over the next few weeks you’ll be hearing more from me about the steps we’ve taken and are continuing to take in Richmond to continue Dr. King’s work. May each day be another step towards the Beloved Community that he dreamed would one day become reality.
