Good afternoon friend,

Today, you have the power to return the assisted dying debate to Parliament. It takes just 30 seconds to add your name to a new UK Government Petition
[[link removed]] we've set up to demand Parliament make time and space on its agenda to fully
debate assisted dying.

If 100,000 people sign the petition, assisted dying will be debated in the House
of Commons. This will ensure MPs engage with the debate and hear from their constituents
who want to give dying people genuine choice at the end of life. Will you sign today?

This weekend, the Sunday Times formally launched this petition
[[link removed]] , sending a strong message to decision-makers that this is not an issue that
will go away.

Baroness Meacher’s Bill is still awaiting its day in committee, where Peers will
discuss and vote on amendments to the Bill. However, opponents have added nearly
200 amendments, many intended merely to frustrate the process and, essentially,
ensure the Bill will run out of time before it can proceed in the Parliamentary
process.

Don’t let this issue get kicked into the long grass. Vote to keep assisted dying
on the Parliamentary agenda. Please, sign our petition today.

The Government has declared its neutrality on assisted dying, but failing to
ensure enough time for proposed legislation to be debated prevents assisted
dying legislation from becoming law.

To be truly neutral, the Government should make time for a proper debate,
enabling parliamentarians to examine the evidence on both sides in detail and
then vote on a piece of final legislation.

Hitting 100,000 signatures will trigger a parliamentary debate on the issue and
put real pressure on MPs. You can help us get there today.

Together we can achieve amazing things.

Together, we will change the law.
