In the future all individuals that seek public office should be required to undergo the same background security investigation that our military officers are subject to.
If an individual cannot obtain a Secret Security Clearance capable rating they should be precluded from serving in public office PERIOD.
No campaign, candidate, or committee should be allowed to accept corporate, PAC, super PAC, or lobbyist contribution for any political purpose!
