⚠️️Weather warning️⚠️

With flood warnings in place and more rain forecast for this weekend be careful when travelling.

🚗Weather conditions on the roads maybe difficult, with plenty of surface spray. Take care when driving and allow extra space between vehicles as braking distances will be longer on the wet roads.

🚲If walking or cycling wrap up warm and also bear in mind that braking distances will be longer.

The Nottingham War Memorial at night lit up in red for Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day Parade

This Sunday we pay our respects and honour the service and sacrifice of members of our Armed Forces, Commonwealth veterans and Allies who fought in the line of duty in World War I and later conflicts. Remembrance Day is observed nationwide with parades and memorials taking place up and down the country; Nottingham included. A  two minute silence will be observed at 11am.

There will be temporary road closures from Highbury Road junction with Saxondale Drive and Highbury Road junction with Spring Road from 10am - 12pm.
There will be a diversion of Highbury Vale from the junction of Oakleigh Street to the junction of Church Lane to enable the Remembrance Parade to pass between the British Legion Club on Oakleigh Street to Church Lane.
