DANA POINT, Calif. — On Monday, Dana Point Mayor Joe Muller endorsed Brian Maryott and released the following statement:
"Brian has an uncommon mix of business and government experience, and he will serve us well in Congress. Brian and myself collaborated on some regional challenges, and he showed a terrific grasp of financial matters. He is not afraid to fight for his constituents. I am proud to endorse him in this race."
Brian Maryott responded, "Team Maryott is very grateful for Mayor Muller's support. Joe has a track record of standing on the side of common sense, making his endorsement all the more meaningful. Thank you, Joe!"
Joe Muller was elected to the Dana Point City Council on November 4, 2014. Joe is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He worked as an Environmental Chemist before moving onto a career in sales. After spending years helping to develop supply chain and logistics products to better serve his customers, he moved into the field of Educational Software Sales. Joe was tasked with securing State and Federal appropriations as well as working with Superintendents and School Boards to place the software in classrooms. Joe retired when his children were born. After spending years raising his children, he started a property management company to manage his family’s investment properties, which is his current profession.
