In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we remember one of the core pillars in his fight for justice and civil rights: equal access to the ballot box for every American.
We’re proud to come together during this Martin Luther King Weekend of Service to continue building people power in our communities, starting with registering voters.

Today, people across the country are marching in solidarity for voting rights and joining together at service events to honor Dr. King’s legacy. We invite you to take action and to join our team, the King family, and voting rights advocates in calling on Congress to pass voting rights legislation, once and for all.

Right now, our representatives have the opportunity to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act, which would address inequities in voting and help ensure that every American can make their voices heard in our elections – especially Black, Brown and young voters, and voters with disabilities who are disproportionately impacted by voter suppression laws.

Make no mistake -- Congress’s inaction to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act fundamentally dishonors Dr. King’s fight.

It’s on us. This weekend, we need YOU and your communities to come together and demand voting rights legislation.
