For those of us who live in South Florida, we know that our livelihoods depend
on clean water.
In South Florida, clean water means a lot more than having clean drinking
water in our homes and neighborhoods. Water is our economic life force -- from
commercial and recreational fishing to a clean beach and ocean that supports
our robust tourism. Our water is at the heart of it all for us here in South
Florida.
That’s why I need you to join me in signing this pledge to protect South
Florida’s water from those looking to make a quick buck off a resource that
close to one million people in our district rely upon on a daily basis -- for
their health and their livelihood.

We can’t give an inch to those looking to exploit our water for their personal
gain in this district. We must join together now and make sure everyone knows
that our water is sacred and we’ll do everything to protect it.
Please take a second to add your name with mine on this pledge to protect our
water, and together, we can stand up for a resource that brings life to our
entire district.
