Hi John,

On this day, every year, we take the time to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and celebrate his legacy. There is no better way to remember what he stood for and dedicated his life to than by following his call to action.

Let's do more than just reflect today. Let's follow Dr. King's actions by demanding that Congress uphold the integrity of our democracy and ensure that everyone's right to vote is protected.

Join Congresswoman DelBene in demanding that the Senate bring the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act to a vote and protect every American's right to vote!

We have seen the deadly consequences of what happens when our democracy and voting rights are challenged. In states across the country, there are efforts to suppress voters from accessing their right to vote and to use their voice. Suppression efforts – such as instituting unnecessary voter ID laws, reducing access to early voting, and limiting the number of available polling locations – are most likely to prevent people of color, students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities from voting.

We must act now to protect our fundamental right to vote.

The House has moved many bills to address our right to vote, and last Thursday, passed the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act, so now we must call on the Senate to act ahead of this crucial election.

Add your name to support H.R.5746 and call on the Senate to protect our right to vote. >>> Thank you for taking the time with us to remember Dr. King as we strive to honor the example he set for us.
